Initially, Periannan partnered with a local from Tirupathur to conduct Annadhanams. His unwavering commitment and dedication to the cause soon set him apart, and he was encouraged to start his own initiative. Embracing this challenge, Periannan established this Arulmigu Annamalaiyar Annadhana Sangam, laying the foundation for what has now become a long standing tradition of service.

For the past three decades, we have proudly carried forward Perianna’s legacy, staying true to his values and vision. This moved many to inspire, promote and provide for the Sangam from various places with great foresight. Today, “Arulmigu Annamalaiyar Annadhana Sangam” stands as a beacon of community support, nourishing countless individuals and continuing the selfless mission that Periannan began.

Every year this Maha Annadhanam takes place near “Sri Durvasar Temple” in Girivalapaathai at Thiruvannamalai with the great support of Thiru K. Dharmaraj (Anaipiranthan Panchayat President) and his Friends & Relatives.
